Paris Transport

Paris is connected to the rest of Europe by train. All trains within France are operated by the SNCF (French national railway authority). There is also Eurostar to London and the Thalys to Brussels and then to the Netherlands and Germany. They use both normal and high speed trains. Tickets can be bought in railway station, city offices and travel agencies. It is advisable to book in advance you get big discounts (at least four weeks ahead).
