Getting around

Traveling in Paris you can use different means of transport subway, buses, taxis, you can rent a car, or use bicycle or you can simply walk round this fantastic city.

Car Hire

Car hire is not advisable because of frequent traffic jams and difficulties with parking. But if you still choose to rent a car you need to hold a National Driving License for at least one year and the hire cost is paid with the driver’s credit card.

Metro

Metro (subway train system) is a convenient means of transport. There are 14 lines of which trains travel all day at intervals of a few minutes between 5am and 1.30am.

Bus

The Parisian bus system is quite tourist friendly. If you miss the last Métro home Noctambus the night bus, is at your disposal.

Taxies

Taxies are relatively cheap though not very convenient because of traffic jams.
