Most Paris hotels observe high and low seasons. Usually the high season roughly corresponds to late spring and summer and a couple of weeks around the Christmas season.
Airport
Paris has two big airports Charles de Gaulle International Airport (Roissy CDG), to the north-east of the city of the northern terminus of the RER-B line and Orly International Airport, to the south-west of the city.
Transport
Paris is connected to the rest of Europe by train. All trains within France are operated by the SNCF (French national railway authority).
Getting around
Traveling in Paris you can use different means of transport subway, buses, taxis, you can rent a car, or use bicycle or you can simply walk round this fantastic city.
Weather
The coldest temperature ever recorded in Paris since meteorological records started in 1873 was on December 10, 1879 when the temperature went down to –23.9 °C (–11.0 °F) in the city proper, and –25.6 °C (–14.1 °F) in the southeastern suburb of Saint-Maur-des-Fossés.
